No lies, food came out and was perfect! The perfect encompasses taste, temperature,texture. I had Amala combo and I’d recommend! Not only that, my sever was friendly and wore a smile throughout! Finally, the atmosphere was beautiful and three families with kids were present! I’d always revisit.

The grilled fish was the best fish I’ve ever had. The fish was so fresh and delicious. The service was exceptional and the staff were super friendly! I would definately be back.

I wanted to experience home away from home with Nigerian cuisine and trust me Funkeys did not disappoint. I had the grilled fish with fried Yam and plantain which was so yummy and the Amala that reminded me of buka in Nigeria. I should not forget to talk about the ambience which was beautiful and relaxing. The staff were welcoming and services were great. I will definitely be visiting again .

I ordered this takeout of catfish peppersoup and plantain from Funkey’s because of a recommendation from a friend and honestly, it was really really good. The spice level was just what I wanted it to be and everything was perfectly seasoned. I’m glad I ordered.

I always come here for their Abula, and they never miss. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely, and the service was great. I would definitely be coming back, and maybe then I would try their Jollof or something.

Ambience A++ Food taste A++ Service A++ Highly highly recommend. I was quite impressed with the experience at Funkey's. Located right in front of York University. Quite convenient for those at York. Pricing was also very decent for the quality of food and ambience. Will be visiting again.
